The East Tiger GMRS repeater (also know as Oly-Comm3) has a great footprint!
At an elevation of roughly 3000 feet above the Sound the site has special circumstances that impact its operation. The "Lookdown" from this elevation is superior in many ways, BUT the environmental conditions are severe and repeater operations are subject to disruption!
While some procedures ARE in place to remediate disruptions to normal operation additional plans are being formulated to harden and expand repeater operations during time of special need.
